Roomba is the best helper. Since we got this robot vacuume our house stays very clean from day to day. After breakfast, and before I leave to work I turn on the robot and it vacuumes the entire house for me, so we never have dust on the floor, and once a week I just wash the floor. Now I can't imagine my life without this vacuume. We have 4 small kids, and with this vacuume our floor always clean. With the app I can turn the robot on anytime when I am away from the house.

So far I'm in love with our new Roomba and the app. I love coming home to a clean house after a long day at work. I love that I get the updates when cleaning is completed or if there were any issues. Yesterday I received a notification that the Roomba ended up stuck. Once our kids and I got home, I got to send them on a treasure hunt to find the Roomba. (The app told me exactly where it was, but the kids had fun looking for it)

Upgraded i7, for improved path and control. Originally loved it but then realized it not really as smart as the older ones. If knocked off the base it doesn't clue in and will die. App thinks it's charging on the base and home button doesn't work I assume for similar reasons. Likely returning now. An improvement would be live status, at very least during recharge and resume stop to judge if you are ok to cancel the second part. Maybe priority to the rooms to be cleaned would help with this too.

Bogus update. My Roomba 960 no longer connects to Wi-Fi, which also means no more interaction with Alexa or the iRobot app. Went through the process to reconnect it to the internet, got to the point where it tells me to go to my Wi-Fi settings and look the one that starts with \"Roomba\" before returning to the app to complete the process. Problem is that there is no such connection rendering it useless and unable to connect. So frustrating. Teaches me for updating the app! UPDATE it's fixed now!

1st my biggest grievance and reason it isnt 5 star. Your wifi has to be on the base connection not the 5G. if you forget you wont get the notifications. Things I love. The notification while running are descriptive. if hes stuck on a ledge, low battery, bin full, etc The new history map is cool. You can almost measure the square footage of a floorplan. 5 star update when renaming to TARS (interstellar robot) enables a feature allowing verbal commands, like being back his humor setting up to 90%

If the robot descharges between cleaning cicles, you need to factory reset it and add it to the mobile app every single time! It is such a pain! If the robot becomes stuck on an imaginary debris, it will notify you that it hit a snag, you then wait 5 min, start it again, and forgets the way back to the homebase. You can only send the robot back to the homebase if you specifically interrupt the cleaning process. If the bin becomes full, the bin sensors do not show up as full in the app.

Does not really work. I bought Roomba vacuum cleaner about a year ago and the app was working. After some update it does not work anymore (tried two different Android devices). The vacuum cleaner is fine - still works with an iPhone app, but the Android experience is pretty much disastrous. The support did not help - uninstall, install, reset, etc. Have done all that and it still does not work. Pitty. Next time will buy a different brand.

The product itself is awesome (I have a Roomba 980 for more than 2 years), but the app is god damn buggy during all this time. Today it stuck completely on a \"bin is full\" state, and it cant run other jobs from app. I cancelled a job, removed Roomba from the app, reinstalled the app... and the first thing it displayed to me when it starts... take a guess - \"Roomba's bin is full\"! It doesn't always save/track cleaning reports and maps for you, and when it does - the next update breaks this easily

It's disappointing that Roomba is not getting smarter with software updates. Roomba 980 does not remember the room even though it easily could as the newer i7 does. The app is useful though basic. I should be able to summon the Roomba to a specified spot just by clicking on the floor map.

for all those that did an update and roomba app.stopped working. I had same problem and it took me couple.of hours to work it out... first you need to hard reset it roomba unit depending on what model u have it will be by pressing and holding some buttons but note: don't just hold.them down until the unit beeps make sure u hold.longer so all the lights come up. I also uninstalled the whole app and installed it again to start fresh. manufacture should have left this info in the first place...
