New: We partnered with Google to bring incredibly fast, low-latency ink to Squid on the Google Pixelbook and Samsung Chromebook Plus (with Chrome 62). See the difference: https://youtu.be/Oc66T_e7xwU

Take handwritten notes naturally on your Android tablet, phone, or Chromebook supporting Android apps! With Squid you can write just like you would on paper using an active pen, passive stylus, or your finger.

Easily markup PDFs to fill out forms, edit/grade papers, or sign documents. Import images, draw shapes, and add typed text to your notes. Quickly select, copy/paste, and move content between pages and notes. Organize your notes within notebooks and increase your productivity!

Turn your device into a virtual whiteboard or give presentations in a class, meeting, or conference by wirelessly casting to a TV/projector (e.g. using Miracast, Chromecast). Export notes as PDFs or images, then share them with others or store them in the cloud!

Squid is vector based - keeping your notes beautiful at any zoom level and on any device. You can erase entire letters and words quickly with the stroke eraser tool, or just parts of words with the true eraser tool. The selection tool allows you to change the color and thickness of your handwriting and even resize a drawing whenever you want without any loss in quality.

Squid takes special advantage of active pens on capable devices to provide natural, pressure sensitive handwriting. Just write with the pen and erase with your finger!

Squid is designed to be both powerful and simple to use, allowing you to take notes quickly and efficiently.

Great app, wish it had Google Drive as a back up option. I generally like the ease of use and I love the multitude of paper options. managing pages in a document, both written and PDF is very easy. I assumed that Google Drive would be a back up option and didn't realize my error until after I did an annual subscription. The app may very likely be worth the price to me with that added feature, but not until then.

I can't believe there has been a feature request open for literally years to get palm rejection added. This is a total deal breaker and it is now uninstalled.

    Great paperless option

Great App! Drawing, inserting photo's, and adjusting/working between the two is very easy. Only recommendation for the development team would be to make the typing function a little more user friendly with respect to underlining, adjusting size, etc...this app has been extremely useful for a course I'm currently taking.

I like the app and it's simple in terms of use and utility. Its main advantage over other similar apps is the ability to choose the format, which is important if you ever plan on printing out your notes. I would buy it to edit pdfs since I think I would prefer it over the standard \"drawn on pdf\" application on this tablet, but unfortunately it only offers subscriptions, which I am simply not a fan of. If I could buy it for 4 bucks, I would.

It's ok. A little lacking in flair and reason to upgrade to premium, and the backup services do not include Google Drive which is just bizarre. (Also seriously, why the Bible quotes...)

Love this app but after the last update it deleted all of my files for school! Hundreds of hours of note taking down the drain:( Update!:Looking at, I believe it was the fault of a new chromeos update, the update changed the location of my squid files!
