Hearing Test

Pure-tone audiometry is the basic hearing examination which determines the degree of hearing loss in relation to the sound frequency.

Hearing Test features:
* pure tone audiometry using bundled headphones and predefined calibration coefficients from the database (possible for systematically increasing number of devices),
* calibration of the device (in the case of lack of predefined coefficients or for headphones other than bundled).

Additional features:
* viewing tests results,
* adding notes to the tests results,
* printing of the tests results,
* adjustment of calibration (calibration coefficients may be adjusted on the basis of your audiogram produced using an audiometer).
* verification of calibration coefficients,
* suppressing of the masking noise for the purpose of free field audiometry.

The test consists in determining the quietest sound that you are able to hear, thus determining your hearing threshold. The risk is minimal and the test can be stopped at any time.

    I didn't do hearing test before, I think I have a good hearing. however, the unpleasant test results may be an alarm to use headphones more carefully and safely. again, I used the demo mode and I think I'm better than this. regat.

    First off, this is the best free hearing test app available. No doubt about that, and a comparison to my actual hearing test from my audiologist shows a startling accuracy that I was not expecting. This app does however have a couple of areas where improvements can be made, including server connectivity problems and occasional loud hissing/static if the Hz are out of your device's threshold. But seriously, if used correctly, this app is incredibly accurate, especially for no money! Recommended.

    Hard to say if it's good. After spending 10 minutes calibrating, we got a \"whoops, the server is down\" message. We sighed and did the less accurate test. After spending another 10 minutes on this test, we got the same error message, and the app wouldn't display the test results. So, about 30 minutes of my evening went down the drain to no purpose. Perhaps an error message that the servers are down appearing before I took the test would have been nice. At this time, I am thoroughly unimpressed.

    I was afraid of the mild hearing loss. Since my ENT told me to have 1, I have done it with the real device. It turns out I need to calibrate it first. The sound for 10 Hz happens on 30 Hz..if not calibrated. Over all accurate
