Downloaded the offline maps but app wouldn't open once in the park. Useless
Just came out of Yellowstone and this was a great app! Only issue i had was that the location marker didnt always show. So had to guess where exactly we were when it didnt show. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars! It was great!!!
Needs a lot of easy fixes. The app is usable, and having an offline map of the park was invaluable at times. Some of the information about features was also nice to have. The concept of the app is solid, and if everything worked as it should, this would be a terrific resource. More info on feature descriptions would be a plus. Bugs: map zooms out if a feature is tapped, won't zoom back in afterward without an app restart. Location dot will not always show on map.
Awesome appz.
The app contains a lot of useful and is easy to use. The only problem is that the map doesn't keep the screen on. This means that if you want to navigate with the app while driving, similar to google maps directios, you cant. The screen will go to sleep all the time.
Extremely helpful, a few crashes and the geyser prediction feature is useless if you head into the park and out of data service at a reasonable time of the morning before the times post. But the feature descriptions and maps are great planning and navigation aides.
Only downloaded it for the offline map, and that turned out to be a bit of a letdown as the location descriptions weren't accessible in offline mode.
Works okay, when it works. Sometimes it would work for a few days before it would crash, requiring a reinstall. Sometimes it will not work even after reinstalling, I finally gave up on. When it works it's nice with a few quirks. Once it matures it should be an excellent app.
Very informative, if you are wanting to see the sights and plan! It would only be better if, in the FAQ section, the scientist's calculated their years Biblically rather than arrogantly. Timelines are astronomically way off. 🤦
Used this app many times each day. Frustrations: adding overlays to map which cancelled each time it was closed, trails not marked well nor info about trail. Loved descriptions and history.
